Theft at Faridkot house

Unidentified burglars broke into a house in a local grain market near Sadak Chowk, Faridkot, on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday. Sheela Rani, owner of the house said,” We slept around 11pm on Friday. When I woke up around 3am, an almirah in a room was found open and the room was in a mess.” She claimed two gold chains, a ring and a pair of earrings was missing. The loss was pegged at Rs 2.5 lakh. Her son Gagan said thieves climbed the rear wall of the house. “No one was sleeping in that room where burglars struck.” A case has been registered.
