My daughter was in a sordid mood and was struggling with her homework. I asked her the reason for her irritation. She innocently replied that she was not able to draw perfectly, and all the mountains in the scenery were not symmetrical and some trees were tall and some were very short. Then she blamed God for not creating perfect nature.

I told her that imperfection in nature is what makes it very beautiful.

Actually imperfection is perfection. In fact, perfection exempts us from being creative. It leads to stagnancy and creates ego and jealousy.

Imperfection is the driving force of our life. It helps us to use our mind in more effective ways. The beauty of imperfection is more imagination, more hard work and more creativity. It is synonymous to challenge and we human beings are accustomed to taking on challenges

Essentially, whenever anyone says we are imperfect, it should be interpreted to mean that we are on a journey towards perfection. Indeed it is a very positive word.

God is also in search of the perfect soul that is why he sends us into the world to explore perfection. Every soul is trying their best to be perfect in his or her journey of karma.

It is the search for perfection that has led humans to invent infinite creations. So, where is the need for perfection?
