TWO HELD WITH SMACK, 20 STOLEN MOTORCYCLES

ROHTAK : Police on Monday arrested a man with 350 gram smack. The accused has been identified as Khilawar alias Shalu. The contraband is worth ₹35 lakh in the market, the police claimed. The police said they received a tip-off that he was selling the drug near the graveyard in the city, when a team was sent to nab him. The police said he also stole ₹10,000 and a motorcycle recently. The police said they have booked Khilawar under the NDPS Act, and said he was already booked for various crimes. In another incident, the police arrested a 50-year-old thief who had committed 20 incidents of robberies. The police said Dilbag Singh of Dhanana village in Sonepat had stolen 20 motorcycles from Sonepat and Rohtak.
