Unidentified man booked for sending vulgar messages

GURGAON: An unidentified man has been booked for sending vulgar SMSes to a resident of a condominium on Sohna road. The complainant said the accused was sending messages from unknown numbers.

A case was registered at the Sadar police station under sections 354A, 354D, 509 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the complainant, who is a resident of a residential complex on the Sohna road, an unidentified person was sending her SMSes on her personal cellphone number and she was afraid that he could cause her serious harm.

The victim said that despite not knowing the person, the messages were coming continuously for past few weeks.

The complainant said she was afraid that it could be the handiwork of someone who was known to her.
