DELHI IS STILL FAR AWAY FOR RAHUL

-

The BJP’s sixth straight victory in Gujarat signifies Modi’s invincibility in his home state. The newly-elected president of the Congress, Rahul Gandhi, failed to counter the BJP’s winning juggernaut. Modi’s charisma and Amit Shah’s organisational skills have prevailed. Even with the support of Alpesh, Jignesh and Hardik Patel, the Congress failed to dethrone the BJP in Gujarat. In the initial stages, there were some prospects of a neck and neck fight, but it all changed in the last leg of the elections. PM Modi’s emotional appeals boosted the the prospects of the BJP in the last phase. The 2019 Lok Sabha elections will be an uphill task for the opposition. In the present political scenario, Delhi is still a fair distance away for Rahul Gandhi.

Karan Singh Vinayak,

Chandigarh that no child is wrongly implicated. Today’s teenagers are well-equipped with the knowledge of committing crime and even getting out of it. They are already exposed, and too much so, due to the information easily available to them on mobiles. The accused in the Pradhyumn killing has tried his best confuse the JJ Board with concoctions. Now, we as human beings, have the responsibility to ensure that honesty, charity, ahimsa and moral values are preached in such innovative ways that the knowledge seeps into the impressionable minds, both at school and homes. We must live up to our moral duty.
