M Vijay, KL Rahul, Kedar Jadhav, Dinesh Karthik, Robin Uthappa, Yuzvendra Chahal and Karn Sharma have also set their base price at ~2 crore and will hope to attract high bids as the eight franchises look to build their teams.

South Africa’s new pace sensation Lungi Ngudi is also in the fray, at a base price of ~50 lakh. Test cricket’s top-ranked bowler Kagiso Rabada has kept his base price at ~1.5 crore.
