ISL: ATK VS NEUFC

Two-time champions ATK will clash against NorthEast United in their final match in a battle to avoid a last-place finish for both sides in the ISL on Sunday.

It has been a disappointing season for ATK in more ways than one.

They not only failed to make it to the play-offs but also found themselves battling to avoid a last-place finish. ATK, with 13 points, will finish below NorthEast United (11 points) at the bottom if they lose their concluding league clash.

ISL: CHENNAIYIN WIN

CHENNAI: A 67th minute penalty strike by Rene Mihelic ensured Chennaiyin FC beat Mumbai City FC 1-0 on Saturday, to end their league engagements on a winning note.

The result meant that Chennaiyin finished second on the points table, behind Bengaluru FC, with 32 points.

A new-look Chennaiyin FC team kept a determined Mumbai City team at bay, with some good defending.

A Balwant Singh goal for Mumbai in the dying seconds was disallowed, as he was off-side.
