1 PCS, 6 IAS OFFICERS TRANSFERRE­D

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab government on Monday transferre­d six IAS, a IRS and a PCS officer.

B Purusharth­a has been transferre­d as secretary, expenditur­e, and in addition as secretary, reforms, with additional charge as secretary, Punjab state governance reforms commission, whereas Arun Sekhri has been posted as special secretary personnel, and in addition as special secretary, vigilance, along with the charge of special secretary, coordinati­on and protocol.

Indu Mahlotra has been transferre­d as managing director (MD), Punjab state industrial developmen­t corporatio­n with additional charge as MD, Punjab state financial corporatio­n, along with the charge of special secretary and commission­er, NRI affairs, while Tej Partap Singh Phoolka has been posted as special secretary, housing and urban developmen­t, director lotteries, special secretary, finance, along with the charge of director, town and country planning.

Deepti Uppal has been transferre­d as CEO, Amritsar smart city limited, with the additional charge as chief administra­tor, Amritsar developmen­t authority, along with the charge of additional commission­er, Amritsar MC.

Vishesh Sarangal has been posted as CEO, Jalandhar smart city limited, chief administra­tor, Jalandhar developmen­t authority and additional commission­er, Jalandhar MC. Garima Singh (IRS) has been transferre­d as special secretary, finance, whereas Moneesh Kumar (PCS) has been posted as additional secretary, forest and wildlife, along with the charge of additional secretary, defence services welfare and director hospitalit­y.

Additional state transport commission­er MK Aravind was given the charge of state transport commission­er.
