THERE IS A REASON WHY IT’S NOT HAPPENING! YOU HAVE TO GIVE LIFE A CHANCE

- Shaifali Bhardwaj

She was unemployed for a year after graduating. If her family trend was followed, she should have been married by then.

Young men were heavily enticed by her distinctive features, but highly focused on making her name and putting a sock in the mouths that painted a mossy picture of a woman’s life, the Mass Communication graduate chose to keep trying until life gave her enough. Another six months saw her not enfeebling a bit but helpless, she agreed to marry. Nobody had a hint of situation in those days of forced match-making. All everyone else could do was provide infeasible suggestions. But she was stronger than those pieces of advice about running away.

Married to a 10-year older man, a citizen of London in the United Kingdom (UK), the newly married bride set off her new journey, leaving past her big dreams of becoming a radio jockey, an anchor, a pop singer, and also a love story. A year later, she was blessed with a baby boy.

As luck would have it, nowadays, London welcomes mornings in her mesmerising voice. Both she and her passion are now a radio jockey. What she had always desired for was waiting for her in a foreign land, and hence it was not happening in her homeland. Must say, what requires real courage is not taking chances in life but giving your life a chance. Inner Voice comprises contributions from our readers.
