Continuous feedback is key

It is said that good teachers are the reason why ordinary students dream of doing extraordinary things.

Teachers are well-wishers of their students and always hope the best for them.

Their goal is to pass on their knowledge to students in a way that they learn it and enjoy at the same time.

As grades of a child do not always reflect the performance of the student in terms of quality, similarly grading the teacher may not be enough as there is a possibility that the final evaluation on the basis of grading is inaccurate.

So, instead of grading the teacher, a continuous feedback mechanism between students and their teachers is likely to generate excellent results.

In the parent-teacher meetings, students are given feedback by their teachers about their performance.

But this is almost a oneway communication. If this meeting can become a dia“A logue between student, teacher and parent, it may turn out to be more effective.

And at the end of the meeting, if student can write short feedback to their teacher just like the latter writes, the entire process may turn out to be more effective and fruitful. Feedback from students can also help teachers understand if the two on the same page.

They will also come to know which area needs improvement or where are the students facing problems. If students can convey to teachers what they think of them and what problems they are facing, it will become much easier for both students and teachers to develop an understanding which will help all.

So, with the help of continuous feedback from both sides, the quality of education experience is sure to improve for teachers and students.
