Will seek second term on basis of our performance: Khattar
CHIEF MINISTER SAYS RULING BJP’S POLITICAL OPPONENTS ARE MISGUIDING THE VOTERS AND SPREADING FALSE INFORMATION
Haryana chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday asserted that the people of the state would re-elect the BJP government in the next year’s assembly elections in the state on the basis of its performance.
Addressing workers of the ruling BJP at a party worker’s residence here, Khattar said, “Our political opponents are misguiding the voters and spreading false information about us. We will seek votes on the basis of our performance.”
He said his government has sincerely worked for the welfare of all sections of society and has strengthened the social fabric.
“Due to consistent efforts of our government, sex ratio has increased in the state has increased to 930 females for 1,000 males from 837 four years ago.”
The chief minister also claimed that the state has emerged as the number one in sanitation.
As many as 31 new laws were enacted for good governance, he said, adding that the schemes which were breeding corruption have been scrapped. He exhorted the BJP workers not to be misled by opposition’s false propaganda. Health minister Anil Vij also spoke on the occasion.
GOVT WORKED WITH HONESTY: RAM BILAS
Meanwhile, education minister Ram Bilas Sharma said during the four years’ rule in the state, the BJP government has worked with honesty and transparency. The minister was addressing a gathering at a ‘Jan Vishvas rally’ in Kunjpura village in Karnal.
