GURUGRAM: The Sector 29 police said that the second accused in the DLF double murder, Jagdish Kumar (38), corroborated the sequence of events shared by the prime accused.

The police on Saturday took Kumar to Doraha in Punjab to recover the remaining nine body parts of Jaskaran Singh, which were allegedly dumped in a drain on October 14.

Kumar was arrested on Thursday for allegedly helping 76-year-old Harnek Singh Dhillon, a resident of DLF Phase-2, in allegedly murdering flour mill owner Jaskaran Singh (51), chopping his body and disposing it of.

Despite an eight-hour long search, the police could not find any of the remaining body parts on Saturday. They videographed the crime sequences on the way to Punjab and Alipur drain, before the Kundli border, from where they had recovered a left leg, which they suspect could be of Jaskaran Singh. So far, six parts of a body have been found by the police on the basis of information shared by Dhillon.

“We stopped at six locations and searched the area but could not get any other lead. Divers from Ludhiana, hired on Saturday, searched for the remaining body parts. The Punjab police have also informed their counterparts regarding the search operation and have sought their help,” said Ajay Veer Bhadana, station house officer, Sector 29 police station. The cyber crime team is also scanning the call detail records.
