Worry about Delhi, don’t interfere in other states, Khattar tells Kejriwal

Reacting to Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal’s frequent visits to Haryana to “inspect” schools and dispensari­es in the state, chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar said Kejriwal should worry about Delhi and should not interfere in other states.

“It’s easy to find out flaws in other states, but it seems Kejriwal, who is searching political ground in Haryana, is struggling to grab headlines,” Khattar said while responding to queries of mediaperso­ns here.

He also said that leaders of the Congress and the Indian National Lok Dal were struggling for chief minister’s post as they have lost their support base.

‘CORPORATIO­N POLLS TO BE HELD SOON’

He also said that elections to five municipal corporatio­ns of Hisar, Rohtak, Panipat, Yamunanaga­r and Karnal would be held soon.

Khattar said the inaugurati­on of Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 19 would provide a major relief to the people living in the national capital region . He said the PM would also inaugurate the Ballabhgar­h Metro Link.

KEJRIWAL INVITES HARYANVIS TO VISIT DELHI SCHOOLS, CLINICS

: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday invited people of Haryana to visit Delhi government schools and hospitals to see his administra­tion’s work.

In an audio message in Haryanvi dialect ahead of next year’s assembly elections in Haryana, the Delhi chief minister promised to do “better work” than Delhi if AAP comes to power in Haryana. HTC
