Chautala, who was expelled from the INLD a day ago by his father and former Haryana CM Om Prakash Chautala, asked on Thursday that on what grounds was the decision taken.

Addressing a gathering of supporters at INLD office in Rohtak, Ajay said he wanted to know what his fault was.

“I never spoke ill about anyone in the party. I have always worked to strengthen the organisation. From the past 40 years, I have given this party my sweat and blood. Then on what basis have I been expelled?” he questioned.

The veteran leader further said that there was a need to confirm from OP Chautala whether he really signed his expulsion letter or not. OP Chautala and Ajay are both serving a sentence of 10 years in Delhi’s Tihar jail, from where Ajay was presently out on parole.

Despite being expelled for calling a rally in Jind on November 17, Ajay on Thursday said the rally will take place as planned and invited workers to take part in it. He said the final decision of their family will be announced from the Jind rally.

Ajay refused to speak to the media citing court order on his parole.

Despite his brother Abhay having lodged his displeasure at being likened to Duryodhan by Ajay in the past speech, Ajay on Thursday once again used the same phrase from Mahabharat, referring Abhay to Duryodhan (without directly naming him).
