Governor’s rule imposed after PDP withdrew support to coalition government of PDPCongres­s which was led by Ghulam Nabi Azad over Amarnath land agitation.

January 8, 2015 -March 1, 2015

Central rule imposed after Omar Abdullah resigned as caretaker CM after PDP emerged as single largest party in elections.

January 7, 2016 to April 4, 2016

Governor’s rule imposed after the demise of CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.

June 20, 2018

Governor’s rule imposed after BJP withdrew support to the coalition government and Mehbooba Mufti resigned as the chief minister
