India beat Olympic champs Argentina in hockey World Cup warmup

India stunned reigning Olympic champions Argentina 5-0 in their first practice game at the Kalinga Stadium here on Friday ahead of the hockey World Cup which commences on November 28. Harmanpree­t Singh, Lalit Upadhyay, Dilpreet Singh, Nilakanta Sharma and Hardik Singh scored a goal each. “We played (well) in patches but I am happy. At times we broke the structure when Argentina took control which is still not acceptable but the boys have understood that,” said India chief coach Harendra Singh. India will play Spain in another practice game on Sunday.
