Saini, who has also floated his
Loktantra Suraksha Party
(LSP), is known for his plainspeak. At a press conference here on the occasion of his party’s alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) last week, he left scribes in splits. Asked if he was still with the BJP, he replied in the negative. “Maine toh BJP chhod di hai, BJP ko talaq de diya par vo bhi mane to baat puri hogi na,” he said meaning that though he had divorced the BJP, but the divorce would be complete only when the BJP, too, would agree with it.
