TELANGANA K CHANDRASEKHAR
RAO, Chief minister Urged PM Narendra Modi put an end to the speculations that lockdown will be extended. He said the death rate in the state was falling and life was coming back to normal. He said migrant workers from various states were also coming back to work.
MADHYA PRADESH SHIVRAJ SINGH
CHOUHAN, Chief minister Claimed improvement in recovery rate from 46.7% in May 16 to 73.6% on June 16 and decrease in active cases. He also said growth of cases has come down to 1.7% from 3.01% during this period and testing has increased from 600 per day on April 6 which went up to 6000 per day on June 16.

Said national-level entrance examinations should be conducted only after state-level higher secondary examinations are completed. He also asked the Centre to bring back Odia people from the Gulf.
KARNATAKA

Said the state was following the 5 T model of 'Test, trace, treat, teamwork and track'. He informed that the state had set up capacity for treating 100,000 Covid patients and said it would be increased to 200,000 shortly. A survey covering 15 of the 16.8 million families in the state was carried out to identify the aged and vulnerable, he said, adding that state has now 72 labs and the ability to carry out 15,000 tests a day.
UTTAR PRADESH
YOGI ADITYANATH, CM Suggested a uniform policy for the NCR to effectively check spread of Covid-19 there and said asymptomatic persons should be admitted in hospitals and should not be kept in home quarantine. Adityanath said the state government set up a commission to look for job opportunities for workers.

On Wednesday said he was disappointed to see that challenges and limitations of Centre and state were not discussed in today’s video conference with CMs.
“All states by now know the best practices to deal with COVID-19. Disappointed to see that in today’s VC with the Prime Minister, challenges and limitations of centre and state have not been discussed,” he said.
