PM SCHEME FOR STREET VENDORS

CHANDIGARH: UT administrator VP Singh Badnore on Wednesday launched PM Street Vendors Atma Nirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) Scheme at Raj Bhawan. MC commis- sioner KK Yadav said under the scheme, an initial working capital loan upto ₹10,000 is provided, along with interest subsidy at 7%, monthly cash-back on digital transactions, and higher loan eligibility on timely repayment. In addition, MC will organise awareness campaigns to extend benefits of the scheme to vendors.
