3 children drown as rickshaw plunges into nullah

ROHTAK: Three children were killed and a minor girl, who was driving the rickshaw, was injured after their rickshaw plunged into a drain in Sonepat’s Piau Maniyari on Monday, police said. The deceased are aged, 5, 2 and 4. The boys’ 11-yearold sister was driving the rickshaw. She lost control over the vehicle while crossing the nullah and jumped off the rickshaw while the other three occupants drowned. Police have initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPc).
