Remove encroachments

Congress leaders Ajay Makan and Anil Kumar Chaudhary have moved the Supreme Court against the railways’ move to remove 48,000 illegal shanties along tracks in Delhi-NCR. They have pleaded that jhuggi owners should be provided an alternative before removing their hutments. The Congress leaders should not act irresponsibly in their bid to garner the votes of the poor. No one has any right to encroach upon government land.
