RAJASTHAN ROYALS

Best batter: Jos Buttler (629 runs) Best bowler: Yuzvendra Chahal (26 wickets)

Winners of the inaugural edition in 2008, RR seem to have a good chance of going all the way. While Sanju Samson seems to be more at home as captain in his second season at the helm, the acquisitions of Yuzvendra Chahal, R Ashwin, Trent Boult and Shimron Hetmyer have made a massive difference. Jos Buttler has also been in sparkling form, topping the scoring charts with 629 runs

GUJARAT TITANS

Best batter: Hardik Pandya (413 runs) Best bowler: Mohammed Shami and Rashid Khan (18 wickets each)

Their work at the auction table didn't stand out, but skipper Hardik Pandya has led incredibly well. They topped the table with 20 points and so will get two cracks at making the final. The likes of Shubman Gill, Wriddhiman Saha and David Miller have played their parts with the bat while Mohammed Shami, Lockie Ferguson and Rashid Khan have starred with the ball

ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE

Best batter: Faf du Plessis (443 runs) Best bowler: Wanindu Hasaranga (24 wickets)

Can this finally be RCB's year? They have squeezed their way into the playoffs, and perhaps have the slice of luck that has eluded them in the past. For them to go all the way, skipper Faf du Plessis will have to fire at the top. If he can, there is enough ammunition with Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik to see them go the distance

LUCKNOW SUPER GIANTS

Best batter: KL Rahul (537 runs) Best bowler: Avesh Khan (17 wickets)

The opening pair of skipper KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock has scored bulk of the runs, while the wickets have been shared by Avesh Khan, Jason Holder, Mohsin Khan and Ravi Bishnoi. Left-arm pacer Mohsin has been one of the finds of the tournament, impressing with his brisk pace and the ability to move the new ball
