Roy would love a role in Aashiqui 3

For fans of the Aashiqui franchise, there are more reasons to celebrate. Filmmaker

Roy (below), who was the lead in the original Aashiqui (1990), says he will be glad to be part of the upcoming film.

“It’s great news that they’re making a third film in the franchise. Although I haven’t been approached for it, it’ll be great to be part of it,” says Rahul, who is hoping that his career gets a new lease of life.

The actor adds that it is actually he who approached Bhatt, who directed him in Aashiqui, that made him famous overnight.

“In fact, I’ve approached Bhatt sahab. Hopefully, he will present me in a new way. I think only he can give me the right comeback,” says Rahul.
