SOMEONE SHOULD MAKE A FILM ON KAREENA: SIDHARTH
Sidharth Malhotra says doing a song sequence with Kareena was great fun and he couldn’t take his eyes off the actor during the shoot
Actor Sidharth Malhotra (above, right), who is awaiting the release of his film in which actor Kareena
Kapoor Khan (above, left) has done a special song, wants someone to make a film on her. “We got along well. She is thoroughly entertaining. She loves what she does and that shows on screen,” Sidharth says.
Recalling the shoot with the 34-year-old, Sidharth says, “I like the way she goes about her work. She used to pose with all the costumes and props. It was great fun. I would watch her and think, ‘Someone should make a film on her’.” The Student of the Year actor adds that it was difficult for him not to look at Kareena in the song. “I am a big fan of hers. I would love to work with her in a film. I wish I had more work to do with her. Even in the song she comes close to me, but my character is not supposed to look at her. The film’s director Karan Malhotra wanted my character to be the angry young man,” he says.
“It was tough to take my eyes off her. I was not allowed to look at her. It was difficult not to be brooding, not to romance her and not to dance with her. I wanted to break into a dance with her, but I couldn’t. I had to concentrate on my character and it is correct for my character to be that way,” he adds.
