Taapsee Pannu (right) is very clear about not leaving the regional film industry.

The 28-year-old says that she is quite satisfied with the kind of projects that she is getting across both the industries, which is why she doesn’t want to let go of either of them.

“For Taapsee, what is important is the story of the film, as well as her role. The language does not make much of a difference to her. She gives equal importance to her work in Tamil and Telugu cinema as well as her Bollywood projects,” says a source close to the actor.

The actor, who is working on a short film with Dhulia, says, “I cherish the fact that I have enough work in both the industries at the same time. It’s any actor’s dream to be accepted in more than one film industry. I’m enjoying this phase of my career.”

“I’m from Delhi, and initially when I had started doing regional films, I used to have an issue with the language. But that’s not the case anymore. Although I am trying my luck in Bollywood, I will always prioritise the script and my role in the film over anything else,” she adds.
