What made Lauren happy?

Actor Lauren Gottlieb (right), who was seen in Remo D’Souza’s ABCD 2, was recently in San Francisco, US, to attend the recently-concluded Festival Of Globe Awards (FOG), says that she is happy to have been conferred with the Women’s Empowerment award at the festival.

According to a source, “Lauren was invited at the FOG awards ceremony, San Francisco as a panelist to discuss women’s empowerment issues with renowned female celebrities from around the world. She was also felicitated as an American actor making her mark in Bollywood, and she spoke about her successful journey in front of the packed audience.”

While Lauren is kicked about the whole experience, she is especially happy to have been part of the panel that discussed women-related issues.

“It is truly humbling and overwhelming to receive this honour. What makes this even more special is that it deals with women’s empowerment issues. It was a memorable experience interacting with distinguished and respected female celebs from across the globe at the ceremony,” says the Welcome to Karachi actor.
