Irrfan set to impress with his punch lines

Khan (above) too will is seen in a new avatar mouthing some dhamakedaa­r dialogues.

At the recent trailer launch of the film Irrfan had revealed that he had a lot of fun delivering the punch lines. He even spoke about his favourite dialogue in the film. “There is a point where Aishwarya comes and meets me and goes away, then one of my guys asks: ‘Tumne jaane diya?’ and I say, ‘Mohabbat thi isliye jaane diya... zid hoti toh baahon mein hoti,’” he said.

Director and producer Sanjay Gupta too shares that the film will see Irrfan play the angry, young man. He says, “Jazbaa will see Irrfan in a different light packing in a punch with his one liners. He has done justice to the character that I had originally thought of. Irrfan’s character is a complete package, right from action to his dialougeba­azi and the this will enhance his commercial value.”

He even goes on to talk about the action sequences. “Irrfan has done action in real time and all of it looks natural. We gave him a scene and he would surprise us with his own take on it.”

Jazbaa, produced by Zee Studios, Viiking Media and Entertainm­ent and White Feather Films, releases on October 9.
