Ir­rfan set to im­press with his punch lines

Khan (above) too will is seen in a new avatar mouthing some dhamakedaar di­a­logues.

At the re­cent trailer launch of the film Ir­rfan had re­vealed that he had a lot of fun de­liv­er­ing the punch lines. He even spoke about his favourite di­a­logue in the film. “There is a point where Aish­warya comes and meets me and goes away, then one of my guys asks: ‘Tumne jaane diya?’ and I say, ‘Mo­hab­bat thi is­liye jaane diya... zid hoti toh baa­hon mein hoti,’” he said.

Di­rec­tor and pro­ducer San­jay Gupta too shares that the film will see Ir­rfan play the an­gry, young man. He says, “Jazbaa will see Ir­rfan in a dif­fer­ent light pack­ing in a punch with his one lin­ers. He has done jus­tice to the char­ac­ter that I had orig­i­nally thought of. Ir­rfan’s char­ac­ter is a com­plete pack­age, right from ac­tion to his di­alouge­baazi and the this will en­hance his com­mer­cial value.”

He even goes on to talk about the ac­tion se­quences. “Ir­rfan has done ac­tion in real time and all of it looks nat­u­ral. We gave him a scene and he would sur­prise us with his own take on it.”

Jazbaa, pro­duced by Zee Stu­dios, Vi­ik­ing Media and En­ter­tain­ment and White Feather Films, re­leases on Oc­to­ber 9.
