SIDHU RECOVERING FROM DEEP VEIN THROMBOSIS

Former cricketer and senior BJP leader Navjot Singh Sidhu was admitted at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital on Tuesday after suffering from Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) in his leg and is now recovering. Actorcomedian Kapil Sharma tweeted, “Just spoke to Sidhu paji’s family.. He is fine n recovering now.. Get well soon @sherryontopp n god bless paji :)) see u soon on set (sic).” Prime Minister Modi too tweeted to wish Sidhu, “Dear @ sherryontopp ji, get well soon. You are a fighter & will overcome the illness in your trademark style. Our prayers are with you (sic).” Soon after this tweet, the PM received flak for giving more attention to Sidhu’s DVT while maintaining silence on the Dadri lynching incident.
