Deepika does daredevil stunts

Actor Deepika Singh (right) was anyway playing the role of a tough cop on a daily show on television, and now she’s also performing difficult stunts without any support.

The 26-year-old, who enrolled into mixed martial arts classes a couple of months ago, enjoyed doing the scenes and believes that her lessons in the artform helped her perform the stunts on her own.

“Deepika had some kick sand jumping scenes and decided to do it herself. She did it without using any safety harness or without the help of a body double,” says a source.

“Action sequences have always been fun and I am training with the best. Luckily for me, my mixed martial art training has helped a lot. Once I felt confident about it, there was no scope for fear,” says Deepika.

“It wasn’t easy shooting it (the sequence) on a moving truck but I had rehearsed well. I am glad that I could complete the sequence in just two takes and this only boosted my confidence,” the actor adds.
