Actor Bipasha Basu, who has been spotted numerous times with actor Karan Singh Grover, says that she does not let link-up rumours make any difference to her equation with Karan. The two were seen together in their film Alone (2015), after which there were reports of them dating, and have often been clicked on holidays together. “As I said, I have grown a thick skin over the years. Many things have been discussed about me, but that doesn’t

really stop me from living my personal life. I was foolish when I was younger, but you learn with time. First, I should know what I’m doing, only then can I tell the world what I am doing, if I need to and I really have to,” she says.

The actor has been a part of the industry for over a decade and says she has never really felt the pressure of being a celebrity. “It all depends on the kind of person you are, your take on life and your expectations on what life should be like. I never really carried the baggage of being a celebrity,” she says, adding, “I live my life as just any other girl. I don’t think there are too many downsides,” she says.

Bipasha says she has evolved as a person. “I have achieved so much independence as a woman in this industry and some of it at a very early age. The kind of money I make, I can use for so many causes, for my family, and to provide a luxurious life for myself,” she says.

Actor Bipasha Basu (left), who is currently a part of the television show Darr Sabko Lagta Hai, says that the show suits her personality. “I wanted to do something on television and while I love watching reality shows, I was not sure if judging them would suit me. I didn’t want to judge a musical or dance reality show,” she says. Meanwhile, the actor will also be working on a web series soon and says that the digital medium is evolving at a fast speed. “The biggest names are a part of web series. It’s just a matter of time... within a year it’s going to start evolving as there is no censorship on the internet. You have the freedom of expression about what you want to write as a director and as an actor. I’m really happy that I’m taking the step forward. It’s an extremely exciting series that we are writing. I know for a fact that people are going to get hooked to it,” says Bipasha.
