Tanishaa Mukerji (left) says that she is now single and is in no hurry to settle down. The actor says her family has also never put any pressure on her to get married.

“I am happily single. I think it is only married people who want others to get hitched. But this is not true for my family. They are very chilled out about my single status,” says the daughter of veteran actor Tanuja, and sister of actor Kajol.

A lack of privacy is often a drawback of stardom, but it has never been a problem for Tanishaa. “This has never really bothered me. I love the industry and my work, and I feel that all this comes with the territory,” she says.

The actor will soon be seen in a stunt-based reality show and says that she enjoys being a part of such shows. “Reality shows help you show your real side. And it is so amazing when you can be yourself in front of your fans. My fans are like my extended family and I love connecting with them like this,” says the actor who previously featured in the reality show, Bigg Boss.

However, she is very nervous about the new show. “I am just freaking out. I was literally forced into saying ‘yes’ and now I am scared about what I will have to do on the show! It’s really making me nervous,” she says.
