‘I love to act and want to do films’

Singer and composer Shekhar Ravjiani has found a new passion

He is not just a singer-composer. Shekhar Ravjiani

(far right), one half of the popular music composing duo VishalShekhar, is not just a musician. The 38-year-old made his acting debut in the Sonam Kapoor-starrer, Neerja, and earned rave reviews for it.

And looks like he is open to more acting offers now. “I want to be called an artist. And an artist can do anything. I love acting and I am open to doing more films,” he says. However Ravjiani will not do a movie, just because he is offered a role in it. “The thing with me is that I need to be 100 percent convinced about the project. Even if it is 99 percent, I will not say yes to it,” he says.

Last year, Ravjiani had tweeted about a big offer from Hollywood. He says he is still contemplating about it.

“I can’t say much on it because I haven’t decided whether I am going to do it or not,” he says.
