HURRICANE KATRINA AHEAD FOR BENING

Bening (above) has been roped in for Ryan Murphy’s upcoming anthology installment, Katrina: American Crime Story — the series dealing with Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath, confirmed The Hollywood Reporter.

The 58-year-old will play former Louisiana governor Kathleen Blanco in the show, which marks her first TV role in over a decade. She will star alongside Courtney B Vance, Sarah Paulson and Cuba Gooding Jr, who also appear in The People v OJ Simpson.
