Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter Maddie regains consciousness

Actor-singer Jamie Lynn Spears’ (R) daughter, Maddie Aldridge, is on the path to recovery. The eightyear-old, who had nearly drowned after being involved in a tragic ATV accident, is off the ventilator, reported People magazine. Recently Maddie’s aunt, singer Britney Spears, had asked fans to send “wishes and prayers” to her niece. Maddie regained consciousness mid-day on February 7,” said the hospital authorities in a statement provided by a Spears family representative. The spokesperson added that Maddie is “awake and talking” and recognises her family members who have been by her side.
