Raju’s comedy relaxes PM Modi

Comedian Raju Srivastava’s (far right) comic timing has tickled audience’s funny bone in an unparalleled way but the list of audience has one special name in. He is none other than our Prime Minister Narendra Modi (right), who too is a fan of the artist. Srivastava has met PM Modi on various occasions. Recalling PM Modi’s words during their first meeting, Srivastava shared what he was told by the leader. “Rajuji, I really enjoy your work. You are so natural! Though now workload has increased many folds, but still whenever I get some time, I still watch a few of your videos,” PM Modi told Srivastava.

Ever since then, whenever Srivastava has met the Prime Minister and BJP President Amit Shah, the duo always begin the conversation with this question, ‘So what is your latest item?’ And then Raju regales them with his latest collection, and after hearing him, both would be in splits!

The comedian says, he also takes tips from them. “I am astounded by the great sense of humour that Modiji and Amit Shahji have. Sometimes after hearing my items, they give me tips, which I add in my scripts to make them more hilarious,” says Srivastava.
