Bollywood also made its presence felt at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai, where pop sensation Justin Bieber performed on Wednesday evening. Here are their accounts
ARBAAZ KHAN
Actor Arbaaz Khan attended the concert with estranged wife Malaika Arora Khan, and their son, Arhaan. When we asked him about his experience, he said: “It was good fun. I took my son Arhaan with his friends and they are huge fans of Justin Bieber. It was a great experience, worth the wait and the buzz. My son enjoyed the show and that was the highlight for me.”
ROHIT ROY
The actor went with daughter Kiara. “It was an amazing show and the highlight was looking at my daughter Kiara so happy. I like him, I am not a Belieber or anything but I like his music. I was like the secret service today — I was watching my daughter and her friends but they could not see me. Everything started on time, everything was properly managed. Bieber was fantastic for a change. He came wearing shorts and a T-shirt and looked so simple. We reached the venue at 4.30 pm because I picked my daughter and her friends from school and reached the venue directly,” he said.
ARJUN BIJLANI
Actor Arjun Bijlani also joined the Belieber brigade when he attended the concert. “It was a great show for me and I went there with my family and everyone enjoyed. Justin looked like a simple and humble guy. He apologised to the crowd and announced that it was his last track and sang Sorry. People loved it! The crowd was managed well but there was a lot of traffic outside the stadium. Everyone was going crazy,” he said.
KEITH SEQUEIRA
The actor told us: “The stadium was quite packed and the girls were going absolutely crazy! It started off a little slow but it picked up midway and everyone went crazy. He has got something very real about him. He has got his act together and you can see that now when he is performing. He did point out to people, especially the girls — he knows his audience well. He said that he will come back to India. For me the ending was the highlight and the energy in the stadium was amazing.”
