GWYNNIE PALTROW’S BRAND SLAMMED

-

Mark Shelhamer, former chief scientist at NASAs human research division, has criticised Oscarwinning actor Gwyneth Paltrow’s (right) lifestyle and wellness brand for promoting bogus $120 (`7730) stickers that contain materials used in spacesuits.

According to technology website Gizmodo, Body Vibes stickers are the latest product promoted by Paltrow’s brand. Paltrow’s website said the stickers come programmed to an ideal frequency, allowing them to target imbalances in human body’s energy.

Shelhamer said stickers’ claim to have carbon material from NASA spacesuits is false. “Not only is the whole premise like snake oil, the logic doesn’t even hold up. If they promote healing, why do they leave marks on the skin when they are removed,” the scientist added. Later, The actor’s website pulled out the mention of the product containing the NASA material.
