‘I’m single; it would be nice if someone comes into my life’
Actors Upen Patel (right) and Karishma Tanna’s break-up shattered many hearts and fans heartily wished that the two got back together. However, it seems that Upen has moved on and is now ready to start over with someone else.
“I am single and have always been open about my relationships. If anyone nice comes into my life, it would be fantastic,” says Upen, who started dating Karishma during their stint on reality show Bigg Boss in 2014.
The couple, who dated for two years, parted on a bad note when reports about their fights surfaced. Upen says he understands the interest people have in his love life. “When you get popular, your personal life becomes public. However, I don’t like to speak much about my personal life. An important film has just released and I want people to focus on that,” says Upen, whose film Ek Haseena Thi Ek Deewana Tha has just hit the theatres.

“I can’t control what people think about me or who I should work with. What I can definitely control is what I say on a particular platform,” says the 34-year-old actor.
