Bollywood stars are known to associate with social causes close to their heart, thereby encouraging many others to also work in that direction. The father-daughter duo of actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha and actor Sonakshi Sinha has shot for a campaign that supports education for underprivileged girlchild in India.

On Saturday, Sonakshi shared a photograph on Twitter, holding her father. “Shot something beautiful for Nanhi Kali... Go register if you want to support a great cause — education of an underprivileged girl child!” she captioned it.

Shatrughan also shared a photograph with his daughter and wrote, “Shot with Sonakshi Sinha for a good cause Nanhi Kali. Society can only evolve when all are treated and educated equally.”

Meanwhile, on the acting front, Sonakshi is busy shooting for her upcoming film directed by Abhay Chopra. It is an adaptation of the 1969 movie, Ittefaq, and also stars Sidharth Malhotra. The original film featured Rajesh Khanna and Nanda.
