Look test, reading has begun for film with Alia: Vicky

Kaushal (above) has been paired with Bollywood star Alia Bhatt in the upcoming film, Raazi, and he shares that look tests, workshops and readings for the film are underway.

At a recent event, Vicky was asked about preparation for the film to be directed by Meghna Gulzar. He said, “Presently, the look test is on. We’ve started readings and workshop. I’m excited and fortunate to be part of the film. The shoot will begin at the end of this month.”

The actor will also be seen in an upcoming Rajkumar Hirani directorial, which is a biopic on actor Sanjay Dutt. He is playing a friend to Dutt’s character, being essayed by Ranbir Kapoor. The film was in news recently for averting a clash with Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai. Its release rate has been pushed from December 2017 to March 2018. Asked about the same, Vicky says, “I’m too small a person to think about clashes with other films. My only job is to act... Each film has a team to decide the release date of the film. They are experienced professionals, so I’m sure they’ve taken their decision with proper calculation.”
