Mansi Srivastava enjoys working out
Television actor Mansi Srivastava (right) doesn’t let her hectic shooting schedule interfere with her fitness regimen. The actor, who is currently part of a daily show, makes it a point to find time to hit the gym every day despite the long hours spent on the sets.
For Mansi, working out daily isn’t just a compulsion to maintain optimal fitness levels; she genuinely enjoys it as well and looks forward to the gym experience.
The actor says, “I got into workout only recently, and I so wish I had done this earlier. It’s actually so much fun if you do it the right way, and I’m lucky to have an amazing trainer to guide me.
“I enjoy sweating it out and losing inches, too — I didn’t realise it until I made up my mind to exercise religiously.”
Though Mansi always had a lean frame, she wanted to get fitter, because she wanted to look her best with her daily show on air.
The actor also got herself enrolled in a yoga class and is taking it more seriously than ever before. According to sources close to Mansi, she hits the gym as soon as she packs up the shoot.
“It doesn’t matter what time it is. Mansi has been regular with her workout session and rarely gives it a miss,” says the source. “She shoots for about nine-ten hours in a day and only if the next day’s call time is late, she work outs in the morning. At night, she goes to the gym and does about 40 minutes of cardio.”
