There are no episodes [of The Kapil Sharma Show] in the bank and no update about the next shoot schedule SOURCE

There was a time when star comedian Kapil Sharma (left) could do no wrong, but these days, nothing seems to be going right for him.

After news of the Baadshaho film team storming out of the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS), rumours flew thick and fast about Kapil’s absence. Some rumours were that he had a panic attack; others claimed that Kapil was at a friend’s birthday party till 6am, and failed to report for the shoot. TKSS was not aired on the August 26-27 weekend. An insider says, “There are no episodes in the bank and there is no update about the next shoot schedule.” With shoots being cancelled too often, it’s an alarming situation for TKSS.

TV anchor Rochelle Rao, who is part of the show, says, “I’m not sure about what happened with the shoot with Ajay Devgn (the star of Baadshaho) as I don’t shoot for every episode with Kapil. My character appears occasionally.” About Kapil’s health, Rao says, “He has been keeping unwell and that’s there for everyone to see. He has been doing a lot of things with his film and the TV show, and it’s hard to run a show on your own. I’m sure these shoots wouldn’t be cancelled if there wasn’t an authentic reason. We need to be a bit patient and supportive as a team and help him get better.”

Comedian Raju Shrivastava, who shoots for TKSS on and off, says, “I think [Kapil] is over-exerting himself. But I don’t think the channel is putting any pressure on him with regards to the ratings.”

Earlier, Kapil had cancelled a shoot with Shah Rukh Khan after the actor reached the set. Kapil was unavailable for a comment.
