That Vidya Balan is a great actor is known. And ever since the teaser of her upcoming film Tumhari Sulu released last week, fans have been praising her all the more. But the one to be smitten by Vidya’s charisma is her co-star Neha Dhupia.

Neha, who plays the head of a radio station in the film, says, “This is the first time that I’m working with Vidya, and it’s nothing short of a privilege to be in the same film as her. It’s so, so surreal!”

And it’s not just the manner in which Vidya works or prepares for her characters, Neha is in awe of her offcamera persona, too. “She’s just amazing, great to work with and brilliant as an actor. She understands herself as a dancer. She’s so polite and gels well with the entire crew, and everyone loves her.”

Floored by the adulation that Vidya has earned with

films like The Dirty Picture (2011) and Kahaani (2012), Neha says it’s tough to match the actor’s finesse. “I find it disturbing at times how she has no flaws whatsoever,” laughs Neha.

Asked if Vidya is as candid and jovial as her on-screen characters, the actor shares, “She is pretty open and I’ve had amazing conversations with her. It was unbelievable to be in the same frame with her.”
