It’s great to work with Taapsee Pannu again: Angad Bedi

The last time they were on the silver screen together in Shoojit Sircar’s Pink, actors Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi were pitted against each other. However, as they gear up to come back together for the second time, they will be in one team.

Angad, who will be seen with Taapsee in a biopic of hockey player Sandeep Singh, essaying the role of hockey players, cannot stop praising his co-star. “Taapsee and I share a good bond. She is a lot of fun during shoots. And since we come from the same background, speak the same language and she has also been a sports person herself, there are certain qualities that I really admire about her. She is a very giving actor and it’s fun to be hanging around with her. She brings in a lot of energy to the sets,” says Angad.

The actor, who has been part of films such as Ungli (2014) and Dear Zindagi (2016) in the past, feels blessed to have got the opportunity to star in the National Award winning film Pink. “In my career, if I can count five good films that I have done, I think I would have done pretty well for myself. One, of which [Pink] has already happened. The fact that it’s been awarded is not the criteria; the fact that it has changed something in society, the fact that Sircar gave me the opportunity to work with great actors such as Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee si what that matters,” says Angad.
