Selena’s mom sick after feud over Bieber
Singer-actor Selena Gomez’s mother Mandy was hospitalised last week, following a “heated” debate with her daughter about her on-off relationship with pop star Justin Bieber, according to reports.
According to TMZ, Gomez’s mother was “so worked up” about her relationship with Bieber that she was admitted to hospital last week.
The conversation caused Mandy to attend a hospital for a voluntary welfare check-up. Now the mother and daughter are believed to have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
This news comes after weeks of rumours, suggesting that Gomez’s family does not approve of her strengthening relationship with Bieber because of his past actions, including reports that he hasn’t been invited to celebrate Christmas with his girlfriend’s family.
Despite the Gomez family’s disapproval, the two singers’ relationship seems to be growing deeper with every passing day. She spent last weekend on an impromptu trip to Seattle, US, with him, and the couple reportedly looked very much in love.
Bieber and Gomez began dating as teenagers in 2011 and spent three years in an on-andoff relationship. They initially blamed work schedules for their first split in November 2012 and they briefly econciled in April 2013, much to fans’ delight. They’ve been going steady for a while now.
