Kareena Kapoor Khan who recently holidayed in Switzerland with husband, Saif Ali Khan, and son, Taimur, has another reason to look Westward. The actor, currently working on Veere Di Wedding has now been invited to be a speaker, at UK’s Durham University.

A source close to the actor says, “Kareena has been approached to be a speaker at Durham. She has always been considered to be a game changer and a trend setter — be it in her personal or professional life. She has also always worked at championing the cause of women empowerment. In her films, too, she has played strong women characters — be it in Ki and Ka or Udta Punjab or 3 Idiots. Her brand value too hasn’t changed despite her pregnancy and motherhood and that still makes her one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood today.”

The source adds, that it was a surprise for Kareena when she was invited by the university to talk about being a game changer in her career. “She is considering it. If the talk happens, it will be scheduled towards the end of February. Kareena hasn’t really spoken much at events like this, so she is looking forward to meeting people and interacting with them at the event.” Kareena Kapoor Khan remained unavailable for comment.
