Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali says his magnum opus Padmaavat glorifies Rajput valour and culture
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is synonymous with grand frames and visuals that are breathtaking. His next film, Padmaavat, being hailed by critics as a painting on celluloid, releases worldwide today and promises to offer an extraordinary experience to the audience.
Inspired from the poem Padmaavat, written by Malik Muhammad Jayasi, the film pays tribute to the famed Rajput valour and culture with actors Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in lead roles.
The film, besides being a visual treat, takes the audience through an emotional journey of the characters.
