Amruta finds Manoj kind and comforting

ctor Amruta Khanvilkar, who has landed a role in a Manoj Bajpayee-starrer, is excited to have him as a costar. The film is the second Bollywood project of Amruta, who is married to Delhi-born actor Himmanshoo A Malhotra — who was part of the 2016 film Wajah Tum Ho.

Amruta will also be seen in the upcoming Alia Bhattstarrer Raazi.

“I got the film through the same casting director who did the casting for Raazi,” Amruta said. The project, which also stars John Abraham, is backed by Nikkhil Advani, and directed by Milap Zaveri.

Talking about Manoj, she said, “When I met Manoj ji during the photoshoot, I had the most amazing time with him and, as a co-star, I will discover him gradually during the filming process. But during the photoshoot the kind of comfort he gave me, was really kind of him. We made small talk and it was a great start.”

“I am really looking forward to the film to roll soon. I think the entire team is really great, and I am very excited for it,” added the actor, who has a few Marathi projects to her credit.
