DAKOTA JOINS CAST OF A NEW THRILLER
Actors Dakota Johnson and Zazie Beetz have boarded the cast of Annapurna Pictures’ new thriller.
The two actors join Call Me By Your Name star Armie Hammer in the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Hammer will play a New Orleans bartender whose life begins to unravel after he picks up a phone left behind at his bar. The untitled film will be written and directed by Iranian filmmaker Babak Anvari, while Lucan Toh of Two & Two Pictures, and Christopher Kopp of AZA Films will co-produced it.
Beetz had a breakout role in Atlanta, which also starred Donald Glover and Paul Simms. She will next be seen in Deadpool 2, where she is playing the role of mutant Domino. And Johnson recently reprised her role of Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades Freed. The film is to be released in March, 2019. rammy-award winning singer Celine Dion has cancelled her upcoming concerts in Las Vegas to undergo a minimally invasive surgical procedure.
The 49-year-old, who was scheduled to perform in March and April, said she has been suffering from Patulous Eustachian tube in her middle ear and she took to social media to apologise to her fans.
The post said, “Celine has been dealing with Patulous Eustachian tube, which causes hearing irregularities, and makes it extremely difficult to sing. Dion has been experiencing this condition for the past 12-18 months but it has been successfully treated with various ear drop medications. During the past couple of weeks medications have no longer been working, so she will undergo a minimally invasive surgical procedure to correct the problem.”
Dion expressed her sadness, writing, “My luck hasn’t been very good lately. I’ve been so looking forward to doing my shows again and this happens. I can’t believe it! I apologise to everyone who planned to travel to Las Vegas to see my show. I know it’s disappointing and I’m so sorry.” Dion is expected to resume singing at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on May 22.
