Kriti to perform at IPL

Kriti Sanon is gearing up to entertain the audience with some of her chartbuster songs at the closing ceremony of the Indian Premier League on Sunday (May 29) at Wankhede stadium. Kriti will be performing live at the event that will be telecast across the country. The performance will mark Kriti’s second IPL appearance, as she performed at the opening ceremony of the tournament last year.

A source close to the actor reveals, “Kriti who is from Delhi, shot to fame with her debut in 2014 with Heropanti. She had foot- tapping numbers in her very first appearance on celluloid, all thanks to Tiger Shroff, her co-star in the film, who is known for his dancing prowess. Kriti will be seen tracing her four year innings in Bollywood at IPL’s closing ceremony. The organisers were keen on having someone young at the closing ceremony as it attracts a lot of sports enthusiasts. Since Kriti had also performed at the ceremony last year, she is aware of the format. She has been rehearsing for her act since the past few days and

will be seen delivering a celebratory performance right before the final match.”

According to the source, she will be grooving to popular tracks from her films such as Heropanti, Raabta (2017), Dilwale (2015) and the most recent one, Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017). On the work front, Kriti is currently prepping for her upcoming period drama Panipat, post which she will start work on Housefull 4.
